Literary Arts Connection promotes literacy, the art of writing, the joy of reading, and the value of the written word.

We pursue these goals through the various projects.

• The production of an annual DFW Literary SoulFEST, which provides an outlet for authors,  publishers, and others to display and sell their works and/or promote their books, companies, and organizations.
• BridgeProject host leading authors and cultural thinkers in Dallas / Fort Worth
• An annual Writing Contest with cash awards for first, second, and third place winners.
• Ongoing seminars and workshops for writers of all ages. These are held in several venues, including book stores and libraries. L.A.C. members are notified by email of upcoming events.
• Writing programs for youth, which includes the publication of their works
• Working with the International Book Project
