RM Johnson

R.M. Johnson is the author of nine novels, including bestsellers The Harris Family and The Million Dollar Divorce. Victoria Christopher Murray

Attica Locke is a writer who has worked in both film and television for over ten years. Begin with Books - Literacy for Young Children

 

Literacy begins at birth! Introducing your young child to the joy of reading books is critical for future reading success. Gets instruction on how to prepare your child for reading long before actual reading begins, how to choose appropriate books for different ages, and how to incorporate reading awareness through daily activities.

 

Environmental Literacy

 

A workshop that focuses on the three basic levels of environmental literacy which is environmental awareness, personal conduct knowledge, and city resources.

Adult Literacy

 

Come learn about establishing, equipping, operating, supporting, and resourcing literacy programs for your church or organization.

Financial Literacy

 

Financial education to help consumers understand how to prevent becoming involved in transactions that are financially destructive.  Workshop focus on basic financial services and asset building, home counseling, credit management and repair.

 

Insights:  Baby Boomers and Beyond

 

Discuss opportunities and issues facing Baby Boomers.   Insights will include planning for retirement, life insurance, empty nest, leisure and family. 

Health Literacy
